Wow, it is almost time to meet her!

Doug and I will soon be traveling to China to get Lydia Mei. We have been in the process to get her since June, 2005. While the wait has been ever so long, God has been faithful in preparing us for her arrival. We trust that God is preparing her to receive us as her mommy and daddy as well. She will be receiving a huge welcome from 3 brothers and one very excited sister when she arrives home on her first birthday.

We have felt the love and support of so many of our friends and our family. We have been touched by the many gestures of kindness, help, gifts, and prayers. We thank God for each of you!

Welcome to the Lenning family blog. While I am not much for journaling, this blog will be a great way to update our family and friends about our busy family. The BIG event which was the main push to get started is the rapidly approaching adoption of our daughter from China. So, feel free to join in and read along as I begin to chronicle this long awaited and amazing journey.
