We arrived in Nanchang about midnight on 2/16/08, after flying from Kalamazoo to Chicago to Beijing to Nanchang. Almost 30 hours with no real sleep! We stayed at the Galactic Hotel, a luxury hotel in Nanchang, which would be our home for the next 6 days. The rest of the Bethany Christian Services group (11 other families) would be joining us in Nanchang on Sunday afternoon.
So, we slept in on Sunday morning. After having breakfast and unpacking, we decided to take a walk and figure out where the Walmart was (need bottled water!) and see the sights.
Walmart is a two story store, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a tall building. Very busy, lots of people.....spending our yuans!
