Well, little Lydia Mei is still little, just not as little! She weighs 16 lbs and 12 oz (up 9 oz!). She is 28 1/2 inches long. She is overall quite healthy. Still not a big eater and definitely not yet interested in table food! In the next days, we will be getting an assortment of lab work just to double check things. We started some immunizations today (ouch!) and she cried, but only briefly. I forgot how hard it was to hold your child while they get their shots. I wanted to cry, too!
Our big accomplishment this week (no, NOT sleeping through the night) is that she had a bath last night and did not scream and cry for the FIRST time. I think there were at least 4 of us in the bathroom watching this unfold. She learned that kicking her feet made the water splash!
She was smiling when we were done!We are all enjoying this beautiful gift from God. And I enjoy all my beautiful and handsome gifts from God. Truly blessed!
