We have been home a week.............

Hardly seems possible that we have been home a week with Lydia Mei. I daresay that Jacob, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Aaron have grown to love her. Doug and I fell in love with her that first day in China!

The adjustment has not been so easy.....Lydia Mei is not sleeping through the night, though last night she was only up at midnight, 3am, and then 5:30 until her nap now at 9 am. I am tired! I can hardly get a shower in the morning, or get the dishes unloaded from the dishwasher. But familiar words come to mind.....like from my dad: "This too, shall pass." or from Philippians 4:13, "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." Lydia Mei is a gift from God, as are all of our children. Time is the eternal sacrifice and the eternal reward.

Boy....that was a short 45 minute nap. Gotta run!
