Sunday afternoon, about the time we were expecting the Bethany bus to arrive, we took a walk down the street. Was I on edge?? Just a little. The anticipation of meeting the group AND holding Lydia Mei was killing me! As we returned from our quick walk, the Bethany bus pulled in. We quickly met everyone and were told that the babies would be arriving any minute!
We all met in a reception room in the hotel, waiting for the babies. The first three babies came in with their nannies. We all cheered when they were presented to their parents. Then the next two babies came in....Lydia Mei and Grace (Lydia Mei's orphanage sister). The little girl we prayed for, hoped for, and waited for. I have tears as I type this. She was in 3 layers of heavy clothing, the outermost layer being a snow suit of sorts. She had the split crotch pants with a diaper on over them. Her cheeks were bright red. Her eyes were big. Her hair pulled into a pony tail on top of her head. God is so faithful. In our forever arms.

I have tears as I read this! What an awesome thing you have done, and I'm sure it was worth the wait. :) Can't wait to read/see more of her...
