Lydia Mei was not feeling good at all as we packed up for our move to Guangzhou, the city where the White Swan Hotel is located and the American Consulate....the ever so important piece of the process occurs here which is needed to bring Lydia Mei home.
Lydia Mei was miserable during the bus ride to the airport in Nanchang. Her eyes were tearing, she was coughing, had a fever, and somewhat lethargic. She did okay on the plane ride to Guangzhou. Once we were to the hotel, we were able to get settled, but took turns caring for our fussy and sick little girl. She did not sleep well at all. But, what an opportunity to hold and love on our little girl!
